Die Cutting Versatility
The leading manufacturer of standard and custom made, automated die cutting equipment. The four post hydraulic press is our standard flat bed die cutting system and is available in a variety of platen sizes. Variations on the base press design include a wide range of material delivery systems, as well as ancillary devices such as part removal, part stacking, laminating, rewinding and slitting. All press systems can be integrated with our full line of accessories to save time, reduce die costs and improve material yields.
These systems process material in both sheet and roll form and operate with steel rule dies, male/female dies, or combination tools to blank parts or kiss-cut materials. Registration systems are also available for precise cut to image accuracy.
The basic features/benefits which distinguish Preco presses in both small job shop shops with short runs to major companies with very large production lots are:

Features & Benefits
Cutting pressure is adjustable and is available at any point in the ram stroke. The cutting stroke length is adjustable to increase the press speed.
Assures platen parallelism. Eliminates the frame flex that is experienced with C-frame or OBI presses, therefore increasing the tooling life. The four post press also allows for most types of flat bed tooling.
A variety of accessories are available to automate and customize the system to suit a variety of converting requirements. Most accessories may be added at a later date as needed.
Roll feeds provide automated material processing and increased material yields through closer part spacing. Also provides for safer material processing because the operators do not place their hands in the platen area.
Accurate cutting depth control increases die life and enables trouble free kiss cutting.
Job storage for quick job set up. Controls can be customized for unique applications.
Automatically strips parts from the waste web.
Various registration systems are available utilizing fiber optic and CCD machine vision systems for accurate cut to print applications. Registration system for one (X), two (X-Y) or three (X-Y-Theta) axes are available in a variety of accuracy levels.
Steel rule dies are mounted with pneumatic clamps to reduce set up time.
Requirements not satisfied by standard press and accessories can be designed to suit your application.
